Bug Report
The Bug Report section in the Plan A ERP system is a dedicated area where users can manage and track software bugs or issues. It provides a centralized location to document, monitor, and resolve reported bugs effectively.
In the Bug Report section, you will typically find the following features and functionalities:
Bug Listing: A list of all reported bugs, displaying key details such as bug title, Project, status, assigned team member, priority, and end date.
Bug Details: By clicking on a specific bug, you can access its detailed information, including steps to reproduce, attachments, comments, and history of updates.
Bug Assignment: The ability to assign bugs individual responsible for addressing and resolving them.
Bug Tracking: Tracking the progress of bug resolution, including updates on the status, comments, and any changes made.
Bug Filtering and Sorting: The option to filter and sort bugs based on various criteria such as status, priority, assigned team member, or creation date.
Bug Reporting: The functionality to create new bug reports, providing essential details such as bug title, description, and attachments.
Bug Resolution: Once a bug is resolved, the system may allow marking it as Confirmed, Resolved, Unconfirmed, In Progress, and Verified with an option to add files or comments regarding the resolution.
By utilizing the Bug Report section, teams can effectively track, manage, and resolve software bugs, leading to improved system performance and customer satisfaction.
To create a bug report, follow these steps:
Navigate to the project section within the Plan A ERP system.
Select the specific project in which you encountered a bug.
Navigate to bug from project details .
Click on the "Create New Bug " button or link.
Provide details about the bug, such as the Title, description, Priority, Start Date, Due Date, Bug Status, and Assigned To.
Save the bug .
Once the bug report is created, it will be tracked alongside other tasks and activities in the project section. This allows for centralized bug management and facilitates efficient communication and collaboration among team members working on the project.
By using bug reports, you can effectively identify, track, and address any software issues or defects, ensuring the quality and reliability of your applications or systems.
